Director of Radio Bill Thomas ~ Sen. John Thune on Robocalls

Tuesday, June 25, 2019 – Bill Thomas, director of radio for Prairie Public visits with John Harris, host of the Prairie Pulse television show in a wide ranging discussion about the Prairie Public’s radio division. ~~~ NDSU history professor Tom Isern shares a Plains Folk essay titled “How the Valley Came of Age.” ~~~ House lawmakers last week announced a compromise on a bill to combat robocalls, and the senate passed such legislation about a month ago. U-S Senator John Thune of South Dakota was a lead author of the Senate bill. He visits with Jackie Hendry about the issue in a conversation from South Dakota Public Radio’s “In The Moment.”
