Monday, September 23, 2019 – Dr. Mardy Grothe is a lifelong quotation collector, and he’s joined us on Main Street to discuss some of his popular books about quotations. In his latest book, “Deconstructing Trump,” he draws upon quotations of the past to see how they apply today. ~~~ Rail cars, river barges and container ships move grain from the center of the United States to the rest of the world. As harvest approaches, Midwest farmers who grow corn and soybeans are meeting some potential buyers from abroad who’ve come to see the crops.
