Thursday, April 22, 2021 - Did you know that North Dakota has more cows than people? Ranching is a big part of the state’s economy, and some of the ranchers participate in Audubon’s Conservation Ranching Initiative, which takes a pioneering approach to conserving grassland habitat for birds. That initiative took a big step forward recently when Audubon announced a partnership with Panorama Organic Grass-Fed Meats, which will double the program’s acreage.
