Dakota Bison Symposium Preview ~ TellTale: Rattlesnakes ~ Sue Balcom on Safe Canning
Thursday, August 26, 2021 - We get a preview of the Bison Symposium coming to Bismarck State College from Larry Skogen, president emeritus at Bismarck State College, and Erik Holland, curator of education at the State Historical Society of North Dakota. ~~~ Speaking of iconic western animals, there’s also the rattlesnake. That’s the subject in this episode of TellTale: Dakota Folklife and Stories. ~~~ Trees' role in agriculture tend to be viewed as limited to the lumber industry or highly organized orchards to grow fruits.
