Actor Preston Truman Boyd ~ Regenerative Agriculture

Tuesday, November 5, 2019 – Preston Truman Boyd, a Moorhead native, is joining the touring production of the Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon Les Misérables as Inspector Javert. Boyd’s Broadway credits include Kiss Me, Kate, The Play That Goes Wrong, Sunset Boulevard, She Loves Me, One the Twentieth Century, Bullets Over Broadway and Big Fish. He joins us to talk about his next chapter in his impressive stage career. ~~~ Tom Isern shares a macabre Plains Folk essay, “The Poison was Taken Intentionally.” ~~~ Regenerative agriculture aspires to help with global warming by drawing carbon out of the atmosphere and into the soil, but there’s an ongoing debate on how much carbon can be stored and for how long. The first pilot project, which spans 50,000 acres of farmland, began this spring with a group of 45 farmers in North Dakota and Canada. Gabe Brown, a North Dakota farmer, is regenerative no-till pioneer. He stresses that every farm is unique and requires its own set of solutions.
