“Backstories: The Kitchen Table Talk Cookbook” ~ Curt Wollan ~ Sue Balcom

Thursday, June 3, 2021 - “Backstories: The Kitchen Table Talk Cookbook” is a new publication from The Digital Press at the University of North Dakota. This collection of essays from more than three dozen writers includes perspectives on the pandemic and situates them amid the long history of cooking, food, and women's work in the home. Joining is one of the editors, UND history professor Cynthia C. Prescott. ~~~ The Great American Folk Show with Tom Brosseau will be airing twice a month this summer, recording out in Medora. Today, in an excerpt from this Sunday’s show, we hear from the producer of the Medora Musical, Curt Wollan. ~~~ Sue Balcom discusses fertilizer tea on this week’s Main Street Eats.
