"We The People" Program ~ Poet Profile: Lee Ann Roripaugh ~ UND Indigenous Health Doctorate

Wednesday, February 5, 2020 – “We The People” is a high school competition that involves mock congressional hearings judged by ND Supreme Court justices, political science professors and local attorneys. Joining us for a discussion of the recent event are Sharon Espeland, the state coordinator for the competition; and Jennifer Kallenbach, of Kidder County High School, whose students are now preparing to compete at the national event after winning the state title. ~~~ In an episode of Poetry from Studio 47, Patrick Hicks profiles Lee Ann Roripaugh. ~~~ The University of North Dakota will now offer a doctoral program in Indigenous health. Joining us to discuss this is Dr. Donald Warne, director of the Indians Into Medicine program at UND.
