Friday, December 8 | 7:30pm Saturday, December 9 | 2:30pm & 7:30pm Sunday, December 10 | 2:30pm Belle Mehus City Auditorium This December, revel in pure fantasy and tradition as Northern Plains Dance rings in the holiday season with our 10th-annual production of The Nutcracker. From the moment the curtain rises, find out just how thrilling a tradition can be as you are transported to a world of magic and wonder. The Nutcracker is the centerpiece of the holiday season; the timeless story of Clara, who bravely saves her Nutcracker and is swept away on an enchanted journey. It may seem like a dream as you experience the breathtaking sights and sounds - a magic Christmas tree, dazzling costumes and scenery, dozens of beautiful dancers, all paired with Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable music. But The Nutcracker isn’t a dream. You’ll know because you cannot shut your eyes. The music, the magic, the spectacle; creating lasting memories year after year. It just wouldn’t be the holidays without The Nutcracker. Northern Plains Dance welcomes children and families to experience the magic of dance during our performances at the Belle Mehus City Auditorium. While parents should use their discretion based on the maturity level of their children, NPD recommends that children be at least 3 years of age to attend our performances. In determining if your child should attend, it is important to know the child must be able to sit quietly and not disrupt the performance for other patrons. If a child becomes disruptive during a performance, the front of house staff will require the child and accompanying adult to leave the auditorium without refund of the ticket purchase. Run time is 2 hours with an intermission.
