Medical Reserve Corps ~ Plains Folk Essay ~ Sauerkraut

Thursday, October 4 – The North Dakota Medical Reserve Corps assists in disaster situations around the country. A team is recently back from helping in North Carolina in the wake of hurricane Florence. Here to tell us about that experience and how others can volunteer for the Medical Reserve Corps is are Tim Wiedrich section chief with the North Dakota Department of Health and volunteer Cliff Black, who, among other emergency positions, is a flight paramedic with Trinity Hospital in Minot. ~~~ Tom Isern shares a Plains Folk essay, Baked Ham and Momento Mori. ~~~ There are just four female veterans serving in Congress. An additional twelve are running.
