They recently held their 3rd annual 24 Hour Play Festival, Bram Stoker’s Dracula premiers this week, State Fright follows later this month as a spooky lead-up to Halloween, followed by a “blood-splattered twig of a play” called Gruesome Playground Injuries.” Things sort of lighten up in April with “Heathers, the Musical” – murderous intent with a smile, and in May a short play festival that’s part of Humanities North Dakota’s “Game Changer Ideas Festival.” This year the Short Play Festival is a national play competition inviting entries that explore the question, “What Happened to the American Dream.” Our guest is Danny Devlin, assistant professor of theatre.
