Bike Walk North Dakota, a statewide 501(c)(3) non-profit in collaboration with Great Rides Inc., present the 3rd Annual Great North Dakota Root Beer Ride. A fundraiser for Bike Walk North Dakota, North Dakota’s only statewide bicycling and walking advocacy group on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 6pm, weather permitting. The goal is to raise money for Bike Walk North Dakota, to support programming such as bicycle rodeos, helmet giveaways, lobbying during North Dakota legislative sessions, provision of on and off-site technical support to North Dakota agencies and communities as well as conducting educational opportunities around the state of North Dakota in support of more convenient and safer bicycling, walking and rolling.

There will be a 25-mile bicycle ride, with two options, a faster group bicycling at an average of 16mph and a more moderate paced group, averaging 10mph to 12mph. There will be ride leaders, so no rider is left behind.

There will also be a family ride that will do a much shorter ride and will stop at a local playground near downtown Fargo before returning to Great Northern Bicycle Company for root beer floats. The registration fee for adults is $10.00 and youth under 18 are $5.00. Registration will take place on the day of the event; no pre-registration. HELMETS REQUIRED. Children 14 and under are eligible for family ride only.
