The Bismarck Mandan Civic Chorus heralds the season with its 47th annual Christmas concert, “Peace on Earth,” on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck. The concerts are free and open to the public as a gift to the community. A freewill offering will be taken to support the mission and operations of the chorus. The concert showcases the range of choral singing from traditional carols like “Silent Night” and “Angels We Have Heard on High” to contemporary pieces, and features selections from Vivaldi’s “Gloria.” Special guest performers include the Saint Mary’s Academy 8th Grade Choir and the Cantate Homeschool Choir.
