Entries Sought for Gingerbread Competition at Chateau de Morès State Historic Site

Entries are being accepted for the Fifth Annual Gingerbread Competition at the Chateau de Morès State Historic Site in Medora. Entry forms are due Wednesday, Nov. 17, by 5 p.m. MT. The competition is open to individuals or teams ages 5 and older and will showcase gingerbread creations in the following categories: Kids 5-12; Teens 13-17; and Adults 18 and up.

Gingerbread creations are due Thursday, Dec. 7, by 4 p.m. MT and will be on display Dec. 8-15 at the Chateau Interpretive Center. Vote for People’s Choice awards Dec. 8-9, either in person at the Interpretive Center, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. MT, or anytime on Facebook.com/ChateauDeMores. Winners will be announced on Facebook Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. MT.

The Chateau de Morès site and Interpretive Center near Medora is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. It is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. MT.
