An inclusive program with a specifically designed adaptive curriculum, ADC provides children of all abilities with a therapeutic dance experience. Students are given the tools for a successful exploration of dance while being in a safe environment. Students will gain increased body awareness, develop fundamental motor skills, improve self-esteem, concentration and focus, and have fun expressing themselves creatively.

Our 4-week Wedding Dance Workshop series introduces a different dance style each week, giving you the opportunity to explore what feels natural, comfortable, and right for you as a couple. Whether you’re envisioning something romantic, classic, or a little more playful, each session is designed to help you discover your perfect fit for the big day.

No experience is necessary—our lessons are thoughtfully paced for all levels and focused on helping you feel confident, comfortable, and connected every step of the way. You’ll be guided in a supportive, encouraging environment where learning feels easy and enjoyable, not stressful or intimidating.

The Family History Workshop is a one-day genealogy workshop. Breakout sessions run in four concurrent tracks, including a Beginner Track for those new to or interested in genealogy, a featured main speaker, and everything in between, giving attendees a wide variety of topics to choose from.

The registration fee includes session attendance, a workbook containing outlines and handouts from all sessions, vendor booths, light refreshments, and a catered lunch.

Pembina State Museum is hosting free, family-friendly programs on Saturdays to share the games and skills that shaped the history of the region. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sept. 19, Citizenship on the Border, 2-3 p.m. Discover how life on the Canadian border impacted peoples' citizenship and the differences between American and Canadian citizenship.

Upcoming Program:

Sept. 26, Arrows & Atlatls, 1-4 p.m. Learn about the tools prehistoric hunters used to survive and thrive on the prairies. Test your skills with targets, bows, arrows, and spear-throwers on the back lawn.

These family-friendly events are part of the ND250 commemoration celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.

The Pembina State Museum, located at 805 Highway 59, Pembina, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
