By Todd Melby

Williston, ND – Ever wonder what it's like to live and work in the oil patch? For most of the next year, independent producer Todd Melby will be roaming the roads and towns of western North Dakota, interviewing people about their lives. It's part of new series titled, "Black Gold Boom: How Oil Changed North Dakota." Alfredo Cantu, Kelvin Lacey and Julio Pulido work together and hang out together. They drive truck in Tioga, North Dakota, but spend days off in Minot watching movies and shopping at Walmart. On one recent evening in Stanley another oil boom town in western North Dakota Melby caught up with the men at a Mexican restaurant.
