State health department confirms 92 new COVID-19 cases; active total approaching 700

92 new individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 4,334.

 

The results were from a pool of 4,489 tests for a daily positive rate of 2 percent.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

  • Benson County – 3
  • Burleigh County - 21
  • Cass County – 21
  • Cavalier County – 1
  • Grand Forks County – 16
  • Kidder County – 1
  • Logan County – 1
  • McIntosh County – 1
  • Morton County – 5
  • Mountrail County – 3
  • Ramsey County – 1
  • Renville County – 2
  • Sargent County – 1
  • Sioux County – 1
  • Stark County – 5
  • Traill County – 1
  • Walsh County – 2
  • Ward County – 2
  • Williams County - 4

 

To date, 228,535 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 122,479 tests have been on unique individuals.

 

38 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 271 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 3,570 recoveries and 87 deaths. This leaves 677 active confirmed cases.
