3 more deaths; 266 new COVID-19 cases in ND

Three more North Dakotans have passed away with the novel coronavirus, bringing the statewide death toll to 196.

 

The patients were a man in his 70s from Grand Forks County, a man in his 80s from Williams County and a woman in her 90s from Morton County. They each had underlying health conditions.

 

Additionally, 266 new individuals from 32 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 18,244.

 

These results were from a pool of 2,976 tests for a daily positive rate of 9.14 percent.

  • Ransom County - 1
  • Sargent County – 2
  • Stark County – 21

588,751 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 230,070 unique individuals have been tested.

 

92 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 752 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 15,220 recoveries. This leaves 3,092 active confirmed cases.
