Eight more deaths; 477 new COVID-19 cases in ND

Eight more North Dakotans have passed away with the novel coronavirus, bringing the statewide death toll to 264.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 70s from Benson County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 90s from Burleigh County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in her 90s from Burleigh County with underlying health conditions. 
  • Man in his 60s from Burleigh County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 90s from Cass County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Dunn County with underlying health conditions. 
  • Woman in her 100s from McHenry County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 80s from Morton County with underlying health conditions. 

 

Additionally, 477 new individuals from 40 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 22,694.

 

These results were from a pool of 7,549 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.57 percent.

649,885 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 244,312 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

111 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 902 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 18,691 recoveries. This leaves 3,739 active confirmed cases.
