443 more new coronavirus cases; seven additional deaths

Seven more North Dakotans have passed away with the novel coronavirus, bringing the statewide death toll to 271.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 40s from Bottineau County with no underlying health conditions. 
  • Woman in her 80s from Dunn County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Foster County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 60s from Morton County with underlying health conditions. 
  • Woman in her 90s from Sargent County with underlying health conditions. 
  • Woman in her 90s from Stark County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 80s from Stark County with underlying health conditions.

 

Additionally, 443 new individuals from 40 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 23,169.

 

These results were from a pool of 6,173 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.46 percent.

655,974 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 246,006 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

100people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 912 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 19,079 recoveries. This leaves 3,784 active confirmed cases.
