Over 500 new COVID-19 cases; three more deaths

Three more North Dakotans have passed away with the novel coronavirus, bringing the statewide death toll to 280.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 70s from Rolette County with underlying health conditions. 
  • Woman in her 80s from Stark County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 90s from Stark County with underlying health conditions.

 

Additionally, 503 new individuals from 47 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 24,364.

 

These results were from a pool of 6,103 tests for a daily positive rate of 8.69 percent.

673,003 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 250,087 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

116 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 968 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 20,392 recoveries. This leaves 3,692 active confirmed cases.
