1 more death confirmed; 88 new COVID-19 infections


The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,461.


Details about the patient will be released Monday.


Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 


According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 88 new individuals from 22 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 101,602.


These results were from a pool of 3,042 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.69 percent.


47 of those positives were PCR tests, and 41 were antigen tests.


The cases broken down by county are:




1,749,036 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 411,046 unique individuals have been tested.


17 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.


Since yesterday 95 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 99,361. This leaves 780 active confirmed cases.
