57 new COVID-19 cases confirmed; 8.73 percent positive

The state health department has confirmed 57 new cases of COVID-19.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 57 new individuals from ten counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 112,393.

These results were from a pool of 681 tests for a daily positive rate of 8.73 percent.

29 of those positives were PCR tests, and 28 were antigen tests.

The cases broken down by county are:

2,129,324 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 456,311 unique individuals have been tested.

20 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 47 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 110,145. This leaves 706 active confirmed cases.
