ND COVID-19: six additional deaths, 646 new cases
North Dakota's death toll is now 1,802.
The state health department has confirmed six more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,802.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 646 individuals from 46 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 153,425.
These results were from a pool of 10,509 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.6 percent.
280 of those positives were PCR tests, and 366 were antigen tests.
2,752,172 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 535,396 unique individuals have been tested.
141 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 422 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 147,931. This leaves 3,692 active confirmed cases.
