ND COVID-19: 631 new cases, two additional deaths confirmed

North Dakota's death toll is now 1,804.

The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,804.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 631 individuals from 45 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 154,049.

These results were from a pool of 9,807 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.85 percent.

285 of those positives were PCR tests, and 346 were antigen tests.

2,761,744 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 536,119 unique individuals have been tested.

146 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 488 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 148,380. This leaves 3,865 active confirmed cases.
