ND COVID-19: six deaths, 691 cases confirmed

The death toll is now 1,898.

The state health department has confirmed six more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,898.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 691 individuals from 44 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 162,976.

These results were from a pool of 9,472 tests for a daily positive rate of 8.01 percent.

314 of those positives were PCR tests, and 377 were antigen tests.

2,887,524 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 545,386 unique individuals have been tested.

165 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 426 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 157,898. This leaves 3,180 active confirmed cases.
