Longtime State Representative George Keiser (R-Bismarck) dies
Longtime State Representative George Keiser (R-Bismarck) has died at the age of 75.
Keiser served in the House since 1993. Before that, he was a member of the Bismarck City Commission from 1988 to 1992. He had chaired the House Industry, Business and Labor Committee.
Keiser owned a Bismarck printing business.
Keiser was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2019.
In a statement, Gov. Doug Burgum said Keiser served the State and his district with passion and dedication.
