NDSU's "In Our Hands" fundraising campaign amasses $586.7 million

The six-years-long campaign is the largest in North Dakota's higher education history.

North Dakota State University has announced the results of a six-years long fundraising campaign to support endowments, scholarships, programs, facilities, faculty and other entities at the university.

The initial goal for In Our Hands: The Campaign for North Dakota State University was $400 million. More than 15,000 benefactors participated in the campaign. NDSU President Dean Bresciani stood next to his wife Kristi Hanson as he announced the results of the campaign.

The total: $586,651,144.

All told, 116 designated funds to support the campus were impacted.
