North Dakota’s officially confirmed cases of COVID-19 remain low this week.
According to the State Health and Human Services Department, 977 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the last seven days. This averages out to just under 140 new cases per day. The department’s coronavirus dashboard says North Dakota’s case rate per 100,000 people is 128.
262 new cases were confirmed in Cass County, 163 in Burleigh County and 92 in Grand Forks County.
In the last seven days, 64 new patients were admitted to area hospitals with COVID-19. Statewide, 52 inpatient beds and ten ICU beds are currently occupied with COVID patients.
