Bison Restoration ~ Philanthropist Frank Larson

Ashley Thornberg

Monday, May 27, 2019 – Rapidly disappearing bison in the late 1800s prompted progressive thinkers to call for the preservation of wild lands and wildlife. Documenting that story is a new book released today titled “Theodore Roosevelt & Bison Restoration on the Great Plains.” Joining us is one of the authors, retired National Park Service retired Wildlife Conservation Society director Keith Aune. ~~~ From the Prairie Pulse television show, host John Harris talks with Frank Larson, the philanthropist who started Starion Bank.
