Tuesday, December 24, 2019 – Holidays aren’t the holidays without music. We share an excerpt from the show With Good Reason about favorite seasonal songs. ~~~ During the holidays, we tend to spend a lot of time with family. We may start telling family stories and get curious to know more. Many turn to genetic testing. Back in May, we spoke with Wendy Roth, who traveled to North Dakota to lecture on "The Social Impact of Genetic Ancestry Testing". She’s an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of British Columbia and Faculty Associate at the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies. ~~~ As we look back on the best of 2019, we revisit a conversation with Jeannie Krull, one of two dozen winners of a 2019 Bush Fellowship. Jeannie works to bring assistive technology to people with disabilities throughout North Dakota, Minnesota and the area’s Native nations with North Dakota Assistive.
