Wednesday, November 4, 2020 - While many local bookstores have closed over the years, there are several notable exceptions. One of them is Ferguson Books & More, which began in Grand Forks. Then they opened a store in Bismarck, and now, in the midst of the pandemic, they’re about to open a third location in West Fargo! Joining us to discuss this courageous move is Dane Ferguson. ~~~ Empowered women empower women. Dr. Agnieszka Solberg embodies this ethic in her work as an interventional radiologist at Bismarck’s CHI St. Alexius hospital. Interventional radiology is a highly specialized field where doctors offer minimally invasive alternatives to traditional surgeries. As a woman, she’s in the minority. Women make up less than 10% of interventional radiologists. She uses her position to help guide other women in radiology with everything from keeping up with the latest technology, to negotiating for better salaries. She visited with Ashley Thornberg.
