Thursday, November 17, 2022 - There are 55 National Heritage Areas in the United States, and one of the newest is the Northern Plains National Heritage Area. It strives to connect visitors to heritage stories and deepen the sense of place involving Federal, state, county, city and non-profit sites along the Missouri River in central North Dakota.
