The state health department has confirmed 16 more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,080.
The patients were:
* Man in his 90s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 90s from Burleigh County.
* Woman in her 90s from Burleigh County.
* Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
* Man in his 70s from Dickey County.
* Woman in her 80s from Grand Forks County.
* Woman in her 80s from McKenzie County.
* Woman in her 80s from Ramsey County.
* Man in his 80s from Ramsey County.
* Man in his 80s from Stutsman County.
* Man in his 70s from Stutsman County.
* Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.
* Man in his 60s from Traill County.
* Woman in her 90s from Walsh County.
* Man in his 80s from Ward County.
* Man in his 50s from Ward County.
473 new individuals from 45 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 86,149.
These results were from a pool of 6,085 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.49 percent.
415 of those tests were PCR tests, and 58 were antigen tests.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 284 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. There have been 2,984 hospitalizations total.
Since yesterday 666 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 80,515. This leaves 4,554 active confirmed cases.
