Filmmaker Paul Brenno ~ ND Quarterly Offer ~ Tundra Research Update

Monday, May 4, 2020 - "Corona Virus versus The Magic City" is a new film by Paul Brenno. It’s a short documentary about the effect of the pandemic on Minot businesses. ~~~ North Dakota Quarterly is a long-standing literary and humanities publication from the University of North Dakota -- one of the famous “little magazines” that have been the traditional seed beds of talented writers. During these trying times, it’s being offered free of charge. Here to discuss the current issue is the editor, Bill Caraher. ~~~ The Tundra project at the Energy and Environmental Research Center in Grand Forks recently received a large grant to further its work on capturing carbon when coal is used for energy. But how does research proceed on Tundra, or any of the many projects at the EERC, during this time of pandemic? Joining us for an update is CEO Charles Gorecki.
