Four more individuals have passed away with COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide death toll to 125.
The patients were a woman in her 70s with no underlying health conditions, and a man in his 80s with underlying health conditions both from Burleigh County; a man in his 40s with underlying health conditions from Sioux County and a man in his 60s with underlying health conditions from Stark County.
Additionally, 143 new individuals from 21 counties have also tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 8,587. These results were from a pool of 5,581 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.6 percent.
The health department will update results from serial testing on Monday.
Burleigh County had the most new positive cases – with 44. Stark County had 16 new cases, Grand Forks County had 14 new cases, Ward County had 13, Morton County had 12 and Cass County had eleven. McLean, Mountrail and Sioux Counties each had four new cases. Benson and McHenry Counties each had three new cases. Barnes, Ramsey, Richland, Traill and Walsh Counties each had two new cases. Dunn, Golden Valley, McKenzie and Williams Counties each had one new case apiece.
397,296 total tests for COVID-19 have been administered. 179,800 unique individuals have been tested.
54 individuals are currently hospitalized. There have been 459 total hospitalizations.
There have been 7,249 recoveries. This leaves 1,213 active confirmed cases in the state.
