ND Health Department confirms 274 new COVID-19 cases

274 new individuals from 24 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 9,242. These results are from a pool of 7,738 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.54 percent.

Stark County had the most new cases reported today – with 65 new cases found. 50 new cases were found in Burleigh County, 34 were found in Ward County, 32 in Grand Forks County and 21 in Cass County. 20 new cases were found in Benson County, and 14 new cases were found in Morton County. McLean, Ramsey and Walsh Counties each had five new cases. Dunn, Stutsman and Williams Counties each had three. Hettinger, Pierce, and Sioux Counties each had two new cases. Dickey, Eddy, Emmons, Golden Valley, Ransom, Rolette, Slope and Traill Counties each had one new case apiece.

To date, 414,477 tests for COVID-19 have been administered. 184,787 unique individuals have been tested.

45 people are currently hospitalized with the novel coronavirus.

There have been 7,718 recoveries and 130 deaths. This leaves 1,394 active confirmed cases.
