ND Health Dept: 1 more COVID-19 death; 150 new cases

A man in his 40s with underlying health conditions has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 110. He was from Benson County.

Additionally, 150 individuals from 26 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 7,327. These results were from a pool of 5,773 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.6 percent. 46 of the positives were from a pool of 1,766 individuals from serial testing.

27 new cases were found in Cass County, and 25 were found in Burleigh County. Morton and Stark Counties each had 19 new cases. There were 13 new cases in Williams County. Grand Forks, McLean and Ward Counties each had five new cases. Four new cases were found in Rolette County. Richland and Sioux Counties each had three new cases. Benson, Foster, Mercer, Nelson, Sheridan, Stutsman and Traill Counties each had two new cases. Divide, Griggs, McKenzie, Ramsey, Ransom, Renville, Sargent, and Steele Counties each had one new case apiece.

A total of 346, 669 tests have been administered for COVID-19. 165,701 unique individuals have been tested.

There are currently 48 people hospitalized. 408 people have been hospitalized overall.

There have been 6,164 recoveries. This leaves 1,053 active confirmed cases.
