201 new individuals from 28 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 8,171. These results were from a pool of 7,182 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.8 percent.
201 new positives is the highest daily positive total recorded since the beginning of the pandemic – but testing is also at an all-time high.
71 of the new positives were individuals from serial testing.
Stark County had the highest number of new cases today – with 49. Burleigh County had 39 cases, followed by Grand Forks and Morton Counties with 18 new cases each. Cass County had 15 new cases, and Benson County had eleven. There were six new cases found in Ward County. Mountrail and Williams Counties each had five new cases. McLean and Ramsey Counties each had four new cases. Three new cases were found in Rolette County. Eddy, Golden Valley, Griggs, McHenry, McIntosh, Pierce, Richland, and Sioux Counties each had two new cases. Barnes, Billings, Bottineau, Divide, Kidder, Mercer, Traill and Walsh Counties each had one new case apiece.
379,934 tests for COVID-19 have been administered. 173,019 unique individuals have been tested.
59 people are currently hospitalized. There have been 445 total hospitalizations.
Here have been 6,953 recoveries and 120 deaths. This leaves 1,098 active confirmed cases.
