299 new COVID-19 cases found, one additional death

One more North Dakotan has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the new statewide death toll to 156.

 

The patient was a man in his 70s from Sioux County. He had underlying health conditions. 

 

Additionally 299 new individuals from 31 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 13,631.

 

These results were from a pool of 4,759 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.28 percent.

504,889 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 210,999 unique individuals have been tested.

 

64 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 598 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 10,821 recoveries. This leaves 2,653 active confirmed cases.
