Five North Dakotans pass away; 269 more test positive for COVID-19

North Dakota’s COVID-19 death toll is now 177, with five more individuals passing away with the disease.

 

The patients were a woman in her 70s and a man in his 80s from Burleigh County, a woman in her 80s and a man in his 80s from Eddy County, and a man in his 60s from McLean County. They each had underlying health conditions.

 

Additionally, 269 new individuals from 35 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 16,333.

 

These results were from a pool of 5,209 tests for a daily positive rate of 5.35 percent.

  • Richland County – 4

553,223 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 222,057 unique individuals have been tested.

 

62 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 674 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 13,628 recoveries. This leaves 2,528 active confirmed cases.
