For the first time since early September, the state health department is reporting no new deaths today.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
The current death toll is 1,152.
287 new individuals from 38 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 87,871.
These results were from a pool of 6,167 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.82 percent.
271 of those tests were PCR tests, and 16 were antigen tests.

270 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 575 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 82,935. This leaves 3,784 active confirmed cases.
