ND COVID-19: 1 death confirmed, as active cases continue climb
The state health department has confirmed 119 new cases of the novel coronavirus, and one related death.
The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,542.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 119 new individuals from 25 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 112,169.
These results were from a pool of 2,841 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.46 percent.
57 of those positives were PCR tests, and 62 were antigen tests.

2,124,790 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 455,804 unique individuals have been tested.
18 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 57 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 109,994. This leaves 683 active confirmed cases.
