State confirms 1 death, 219 new COVID-19 cases
One more resident has passed away with COVID-19, as 219 new cases have been confirmed.
The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,551.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 219 new individuals from 28 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 114,690.
These results were from a pool of 3,775 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.02 percent.
142 of those positives were PCR tests, and 77 were antigen tests.

2,172,575 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 462,937 unique individuals have been tested.
51 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 155 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 111,594. This leaves 1,545 active confirmed cases.
