ND COVID-19: 7 deaths, 647 new cases confirmed

Today’s test positivity rate is 7.09 percent.

The state health department has confirmed seven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,604.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 647 individuals from 43 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 129,189.

These results were from a pool of 9,668 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.09 percent.

325 of those positives were PCR tests, and 322 were antigen tests.

2,407,525 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 498,430 unique individuals have been tested.

120 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 560 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 123,895. This leaves 3,690 active confirmed cases.
