830 new COVID-19 cases, three deaths confirmed

Active cases in North Dakota have surpassed 4,000.

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,610.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 830 individuals from 44 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 131,399.

These results were from a pool of 11,362 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.85 percent.

365 of those positives were PCR tests, and 465 were antigen tests.

2,433,306 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 502,287 unique individuals have been tested.

128 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 521 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 125,759. This leaves 4,030 active confirmed cases.
