Health department confirms 725 COVID-19 cases, ten additional deaths

North Dakota's death toll has risen to 1,652.

The state health department has confirmed ten more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,652.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 725 individuals from 45 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 138,902.

These results were from a pool of 8,720 tests for a daily positive rate of 9.04 percent.

280 of those positives were PCR tests, and 445 were antigen tests.

2,532,972 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 515,102 unique individuals have been tested.

181 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 630 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 133,386. This leaves 3,864 active confirmed cases.
