633 cases of COVID-19 found; four deaths confirmed

North Dakota's death toll is now 1,662.

The state health department has confirmed four more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,662.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 633 individuals from 45 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 140,186.

These results were from a pool of 11,453 tests for a daily positive rate of 5.99 percent.

302 of those positives were PCR tests, and 331 were antigen tests.

2,553,958 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 517,293 unique individuals have been tested.

202 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 649 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 134,523. This leaves 4,001 active confirmed cases.
