ND COVID-19: eleven more dead, 571 new cases

The death toll has risen to 1,714.

The state health department has confirmed eleven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,714.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 571 individuals from 44 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 144,088.

These results were from a pool of 8,362 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.23 percent.

241 of those positives were PCR tests, and 330 were antigen tests.

2,614,317 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 523,026 unique individuals have been tested.

183 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 481 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 138,774. This leaves 3,600 active confirmed cases.
