ND Covid-19: 656 positive cases found, seven additional related deaths

The death toll is now 1,874.

The state health department has confirmed seven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,874.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 656 individuals from 48 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 160,550.

These results were from a pool of 11,753 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.19 percent.

258 of those positives were PCR tests, and 398 were antigen tests.

2,857,270 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 543,033 unique individuals have been tested.

181 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 540 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 155,397. This leaves 3,279 active confirmed cases.
