The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,028.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 1,519 individuals from 46 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 180,646.
These results were from a pool of 11,098 tests for a daily positive rate of 14.78 percent.
666 of those positives were PCR tests, and 853 were antigen tests.
3,122,750 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 570,108 unique individuals have been tested.
118 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 753 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 174,131. This leaves 4,487 active confirmed cases.
